One of the most devastating changes during the pandemic was the complete stopping of all live singing. I used to make a living singing and this hault to all performances really put a dent in my pocket. As a result, all of my fellow vocalists and I had to resort to singing virtually using multimedia venues. Some singers used Facebook live to sing and requested the use of cash app and other ways of being paid. Many singers and musicians used the play2fund me website
On this website people could sing or play and instrument and perform via video or go live. People would watch and send money for their enjoyment.
Also singers were forced to create websites to sell cds to generate income. I created a music website to sell my gospel cds. www.cindycoopermusic.com
Multimedia was the only way to generate income due to the pandemic. Thank God for multimedia it was the only way I survived. There was also a website called www.musicares.com
This website had grants for singers and musicians to help them with bills during Covid. It was very difficult for fulltime singers and musicians to survive. Multimedia helps lots of us earn income during this devastating time.
